professor in the Institute of Music at the University of Silesia in Katowice. Gives concerts at home and abroad, including in the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, Germany, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Austria, Great Britain and Slovakia. She is the author of academic articles published in Polish, Latvian, Czech and Ukrainian, transcriptions for cello, as well as the monograph The ­mimetic trend in cello literature. Among her achievements are four volumes of sheet music, and she has recorded 12 CD’s. In 2017, she was honoured with the award ‘For Services to Polish Culture’.
